What About Books?

what about books

You can offer students books with the following activities:

  1. Let the students purchase their own books, so the student could search for the best price. Pros: students can save money by shopping for a better price than was listed on the enrolment agreement. Cons: some students will not purchase the book and try to pocket the money and use it for something else.
  2. The College sells the book to the student. Pros: This ensures every student does have a book for class and the College makes a mark-up on the book as another revenue sources for the College. Cons: The College is subject to the delivery of the books and if the publisher is late, the College is to blame.
  3. Student downloads a digital copy of the book. Pros: Fast and efficient. Cons: student requires a device to store and use the documents, as well it’s not book.
